Colorado Springs Polar Pool Plunge & 5K

The Colorado Springs Polar Pool Plunge & 5K is an annual event supporting Special Olympics Colorado athletes. It will take place on Sunday, March 16, 2025, at Rock Ledge Ranch Historic Site (3105 Gateway Rd, Colorado Springs, CO 80904).

Registration opens at 9:00 AM, with the 5K run starting at 10:00 AM and the Polar Plunge at 11:00 AM. Participants can choose from:

  • Polar Plunge: Take a daring dive into cold water in support of Special Olympics athletes.
  • 5K Run/Walk: Join the 5K race or walk around the ranch grounds.
  • Combo Participation: Combine the 5K and the plunge for an unforgettable experience.

The minimum fundraising requirement is $80 for adults and $50 for students and Special Olympics athletes. All proceeds benefit over 28,000 Special Olympics athletes across Colorado.
