• Extension of Temporary Protected Status (TPS) for Ukraine:
The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) extended TPS for Ukraine for 18 months, from April 20, 2025, to October 19, 2026. Current beneficiaries who wish to maintain their status must re-register between January 17 and March 18, 2025, and may apply for new Employment Authorization Documents (EADs).
• Re-parole process for certain Ukrainian citizens and their immediate family members:
USCIS provides an opportunity for certain Ukrainian citizens and their immediate family members in the U.S. under humanitarian parole to request re-parole.
These updates aim to support Ukrainian citizens and their families amid ongoing conflict and instability in Ukraine.
